Have you ever came across a note, in which the handwriting didn't look familar? If so, you then
have to determine if this is a ransom note or if the note is real or fake. Handwriting is really

brain writing.

1. History of handwriting

Aristotle began noticing the difference of handwriting and personalitys v. the chinese were

differentiating between character and writing. In the year of 1622, an Italian physican published a book on the study of handwriting. In the 1800s, Abbe Michon wrote a few novels on the "graphology" Later on Crepieux advanced his theory into a better understanding system.In the 1890s, Dr. Ludwig broaded the scope of "graphology" He has used hus own assement method of handwriting using both empirical and clinal processes. Handwriting decribes your personality traits.

2. I believe investigators have trouble identify writing types because there so many details to analyze and there are trillions of people in the world who all write different, so just image the time and effort it takes.

3.*I think because crimminals today are very savy in forging handwriting made writing analysers more aware to be precise at every little detail in each piece of writing. The details I'm speaking of are *size and proportions, general layout, direction of lines, degree connection, regularity, rhythm, degree broadness, speed of writing, form of letters, spacing, pressure, & decoration.

4. In class we analyzed and worked through clues as a team and sometimes singley to find out the overall victim. We began as "baby" investigators and slowly progressed into experienced investigators. I for one must say i personally enjoyed all the activities that we did in class and look forward to the many more activites to come.

1. A fingerprint is a term used to describe the friction ridges on your finger. Fingerprints were first found on the walls of Egyptian tombs and on pottery in Babylon and Rome. Some people that contributed to fingerprinting would be Grew, Malpighi,Purkyne, Faulds, Galton, and many others.

2. There are 8 basic types of fingerprints and those would include plain arch, tented arch, ulnar loop, radical loop, plain whorl, central pocket loop, double loop whorl, and accidental whorl.

3. Techniques and chemicals: some chemicals that are used to collect fingerprints are talc, and baby powder.

4. The basic pattern is called an iris pattern and a basic facial/oval/square shape.

5.The procedure is you place a finger on a smooth surface, porous,hard or nonabsorbent then you take a brush and then sprinkle baby powder over the print then you place a piece of gelatin tape over the print to collect it then you place it on a sheet of paper and there you have it.
